Word Ladder
In the workshopChange one letter at a time
Store name: “Word Ladder: Daily Doublets”
What it is
The classic word-ladder puzzle Lewis Carroll invented in 1877: turn COLD into WARM one letter at a time, every step a real word. One shared daily puzzle, endless practice ladders, hints, and a spoiler-free share.
Why we built it
Daily word games are everywhere, but Carroll's doublets — arguably the original — had no clean, modern, offline treatment. Most versions are web toys with sketchy dictionaries that reject fair words or claim impossible pars. Players wanted the daily-puzzle ritual with honest scoring, so we built the mechanic around a real solver instead of a static answer key.

Every app on the shelf started as one honest problem, scoped small and built native, end to end. That’s exactly how we approach client work — designed, built and shipped, without the bloat.
