What it is
Tap Tone Analyzer is a measurement instrument for instrument makers. Tap a guitar top, a brace, or a free plate and see a real-time FFT spectrum with labeled peak frequencies, nearest note, and cents. Log each tap against a named plate and build stage to watch resonances move as you carve.
Why we built it
Luthiers tap plates next to a laptop running a generic spectrum app and pencil frequencies onto the wood. A single-mechanic measurement app charts in paid Music, proving the market, but the one thing a plain spectrum app lacks is a build log. The gap was an honest instrument that shows only what the mic heard, undercuts on price, and keeps a per-plate carving history.
