What it is
A pocket editor for GPX track files. Merge a ride recorded in pieces, split a two-day hike into days, crop off the drive-home tail the GPS kept recording, shrink a bloated file, or strip private timestamps before sharing. Every operation writes a new file and never touches your original.
Why we built it
Hikers, cyclists, and runners constantly need these small fixes, but today that means a desktop website or a command-line tool. There is no good on-phone editor. GPX Tool puts the whole utility knife in your pocket, working on your own files with no upload, and is honest about its one limit: heart-rate and power fields are not yet preserved, and files carrying them are clearly badged.
