Bird Banding Codes

Store name: “Bird Banding Codes: 4-Letter”
What it is
A lookup and study drill for the 4-letter bird alpha codes banders and eBirders use daily — NOCA, AMRO, RTHA. One search box works both directions: type a code to get the bird, or a partial name to get the code. Quiz yourself either way.
Why we built it
Banders, eBird users, and ornithology students memorize hundreds of these codes, and the hard part isn't the derivation rules — it's the collision exceptions the rules can't predict (Tree Swallow is TRES, not TRSW). Existing references are PDFs and web tables. Nothing taught the system: rules, exceptions, and drills in one offline field tool.
